It would make sense that most would have a "team" in their corner, but from what I have seen out there, it seems as if most seasoned guys view wholesalers at the bottom of the totem pole.

My skills are in leadership, willingness to get my hands dirty doin some work, and learning quickly.

Fortunately, that was back when we had reasonable leadership downtown that didn't want to make TN like California and I had the zoning for it.

I've had leadership give me negative marks toward promotion just because of my side hustle (and tell me that is why)...I guess playing Call of Duty and getting drunk is what leaders SHOULD be doing instead, because nobody tells my peers their off-duty habits are negatively effecting them.That being said, the overwhelming response has been positive, and I recommend every military REI guy/gal sheds that secret identity.

You can gain that experience through education, mentorship, and running a park yourself of course, but the goal is to become the expert at determining and executing the right strategy for a park.As it relates to management, just remember that your ability to move the needle will be directly related to the quality of the onsite manager, and YOUR ability to provide the proper leadership, goals for the park, and resources/support to help your onsite staff achieve them.All the best,Jack
