The library is only ~30 episodes deep so it's accessible to cruise through them all.

If you have family or a beach or some other destination in another state, that can give you a reason to visit your investment and then it isn't so painful when you have to go do something at your rental. 

I may have to lower prices a little, but my properties attract couples and small families in an affordable, drivable destination, and I have enough margin that I can ride out a drop in price for awhile.  

That 30 minute radius, at cruising speed, was 150 miles... meaning over 50,000 square miles in which this hypothetical commuter could live. 

They still need a place to live, so they will either move back with their parents or will look for a place to rent.If you are looking for a rental in a luxury area, like Las Vegas or some beach vacation destination, then I agree that the rents there should go down if the market goes down, because people won't consider expensive rentals during the crisis times.Those are the things we consider when buying a rental property.

Sometimes there are older bridges that need to be crossed to reach the final destination that cannot carry the weight.Generally there are special permits needed to move the house and only a certain time allowed to do it on the streets.

People are starting to get creative - if you are familiar with STR laws in your area & if that area is a destination spot, using that to your advantage might be something you are looking in to.
