I am in the process of closing on a 5-unit property in Pilsen/Heart of Chicago very close to Harrison Park.After closing, I will need property management to manage the building. 

If she doesn't accept, move her out.People will tug your heart strings.

@Ryan Kennedy There are a lot of things that could go wrong, a tsunami, an earthquake, hurricanes, floods, market crash, car crash, airplane crash, mall shooting, heart attack, anything.

I agree with @Carl Jackson in that I don't think the real estate commission has any heart burn with you managing your own single member LLC.

I read the sellers remarks and see the price and I can feel my heart rate rising.

I'm a helper at heart and a total newbie...I've been talking with a gentleman that has a rental property I'm interested in for buy/hold.

I need some advice because there may be ethical & "bleeding heart" flaws in my plan.  

I would recommend this book in a heart beat.

Write it down, list the potential of both, you will have your answer, unless you have a personal connection to it, then that may skew facts as in the end this is personal finance and can be swayed by your heart.
