But the guests are not going up particularly much. to me the 800- pound gorilla in the room is still too many people piling in thinking short-term rentals are the answer. except for a few markets, and I'm not even sure about them, I am expecting a mega collapse in short term rental markets, and it's just a matter of when.

Last November 2019, tenants agreed that they have to vacate the property this summer for owners to renovate the property due to safety reasons — property is an old house that may collapse anytime (foundation is not good).

A lot of those new inspection laws were put in place for construction safety, all in response to building collapsing's and high reports of property damage.Mainly dealing with development teardowns and excavations but if you see that as a con, every state or city is going to have one whether its high property taxes, friendly tenant laws, no appreciation, red tape.. etc.
