I have the insurance on it I cut the grass I pay the taxes They could have done all that but instead turned into a zombie house.  

The real estate market has evolved a lot in the last few years, with more real estate investors making it more competitive and interest rates cutting severely into margins and also slowing down buyer demand (when trying to get out of a property). 

Instead, investing should be a means to taking care of our needs and improving our life style.

In related news, we had a guests for a  10 day stay and they wanted to cut the stay short.

If you don’t care about maximizing loan amount then you could start whenever.

So be careful of that.

Perhaps you start a side business or go all out on cutting expenses that are sacrificing things that you want.

The person who comes into money but not a lot of experience in real estate should be a little more cautious right now.So overall, I am not saying - do not buy, I am saying be careful.
