Many of the retirement/financial books I had read referenced “RD, PD,” so when I saw this book at the library a couple of months ago, I borrowed it.

Start off by reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Millionaire Next Door and then The Millionaire Investor, all of these are best sellers and easy to find at your local library.

I suggest the first action you take is to first get some more education, then get a plan, then take action to implement the plan, in that order.You might have noticed that wholesaling is lot harder than they tell you in the seminars and books at the library.

My wife and I went old school and checked out 10 or so home plan books from our local library and have a good idea in mind for what we want.

Tech will always have a "Next Gen" product which is currently focused on Consumerism (TV's, phones, PC's, entertainment). 

I am looking for additional knowledge to add to my real estate library.

Try doing it when mortgage rates are 6-8%, NOBODY you know or have ever talked to is doing is, there are no books in the library, no such thing as Bigger pockets, no Zillow, no online MLS, heck maybe no internet.

I actually need to let the tenants know which is why I am at my PC right now.

Reading and watching is great,  but free audibooks from the library will allow you to do other things while learning.
