I worked intense jobs for 5 years hoping to someday transition into real estate, and it'd really suck to go back.  

The property management would be intense. 

As we grew, we transitioned to larger class B apartments with better quality tenants, but the competition in the value-add game became intense, and it made finding good deals more challenging.The market for multifamily syndication is crowded, with many people attending weekend boot camps and diving into the game.

However, the high property values, intense competition, and New York's taxes and regulations pose some hurdles.

Generally speaking the cheaper the property and the rougher the area, you'll attract lower quality tenants, its more management intensive, and thus more expensive for you, the owner. 

All I did was look at a property, run the comps, and got a reno budget, So nothing to intense.

As you all had mentioned the project is fairly intense with many unknowns that may pop up.  

@Evelyn Kop the analysis paralysis is SO REAL...granted it's only been a few (but intense) weeks for me as I'm still in the infant stages of learning about real estate investments. 

It's just a little more showing intensive.

Given these improvements are ‘physical’ /labor intense improvements?
