I go for the 2nd or third cheapest paint which is usually a good quality without paying for the scams.

As far as the HOA association they scam but don’t have any lawsuits because it is mostly remote investors and no one cares as long as their unit is rented and brings positive cashflow.

I know many people who have been scammed by trusting people who they shouldn't have trusted.

​I want to remind people that there are so many scams out there right now.

Also check out Craigslist and FaceBook marketplace, but be wary of scams. 

So much reckless money being thrown around is bound to attract the hyenas.Unfortunately, hardly anyone wants to acknowledge this, much less discuss it.I spoke to a colleague yesterday who just got scammed out of $1,500 in earnest money from dealing with an unscrupulous "investor" who probably makes more money from broken contracts than he does from legitimate property sales!
