There is ZERO logic going on and everyone is too insecure to just be confident and don't blindly follow advice from an other investor that did it longer than they have, YET not getting any decent results either.

(don't buy in to those internet scams with certificates, silly vest and collars; even if they say they have lawyers behind them, they are FOS) If there is no apparent need for the "service dog" (what is this guy blind or something?)

I thought this was common sense, but when some people hear someone on a podcast or see them on a YouTube video, they blindly trust them.

Just be careful if you do partner with someone in a local REIA who has only done a few deals - you wont' want the blind leading the blind.  

But we'd be moving in blind with no network or knowledge and with having kids now, it feels a little trickier.

YEP... us developers are just robbing people blind with all the easy money we make!

If you go into it blindly, you are asking for trouble.

I would take my dog with me but I don't think they would be too deterred by a 15 year old, completely deaf, half blind, 15lb Shih Tzu...lol In all seriousness, I certainly take safety more seriously now.

Too often, we hear how they invested in a restaurant chain or a waterpark, or had a business manager rob them blind.
