Playing devil's advocate the increased water pressure could have dislodged debris and sediment or maybe it pulled something in from the garbage disposal?

The other issue I had was the impact this would have when I disposed of the home... small chance that an agent/buyer may recognize the home from a porn shoot and didn't want to have to explain that.

I would line up at least a few local lenders and 1-3 larger, regional/ national lenders so that you have a wide array of terms at your disposal.
