Needless to say the arrangements were set and he was all scheduled to start the trial in Madison when the pharmaceutical company pulled the trial drug and we were left without treatment.. arrangements made were at our risk but worth the effort.  

But from my research, you can not disqualify someone for drugs or alcohol felonies because it is considered a "mental health disorder" You can always find another reason not to rent that doesn't have anything to do with that. :)

i have personally never had that offer when it wasn't to compensate for some sort of red flag, ie: past evictions, felony conviction, sex offender, drug dealer, or prostitution/porn But who knows, there's a first for everything!

You go to the local REIAs and the owners of these types of properties deal with drugs, gangs and property damage in these areas. 

I just got one - a father and son (and pregnant fiancee, God help her) duo - with 3 entire pages of  convictions and arrests (repeated offenses) for everything you can think of : burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, felony battery, drug possession, that's not even all of it.

Once I helped out some friends that had one tenant pass away from alcohol, the son was a complete mess with drugs urinating and defecating on the floor and on top of all that they were hoarders.

But she will likely be involved with thugs, drug dealers and other types attracted to fast cash money.

Please be fair, and ask the proper question: If we're to give a break to Tenants, Will the Insurance Companies, Federal Tax Man, State-Taxman, City-Taxman, Utility Companies, Repair Men, Plumbers, Electricians, Water & Sewer companies, Medical Health Insurers & Drug companies, Oil & gas companies, and Lenders / Banks & Mortgage companies be giving US Landlords & PMs a break too?

They also have a lot more drunks and pot smokers, domestic issues, drug use, etc.

I went there today to collect rent from one of my tenants who told me she would be available, but I was met by the other tenant who told me she’s taken off because she started using drugs like meth.
