No matter what type of architecture, or exterior finish, many times updating with energy efficient doors, windows, new trim, and paint will do wonders.As for the maintenance of stucco, IF IT'S APPLIED CORRECTLY, and you have good gutters, etc. on the house, you shouldn't be having problems with mold.

We did not find this when we walked for the first time and before paying the EMD.Attached are the links of the termite pictures.It's behind the wall paper in the kitchen, all long the base board trim throughout the house, & on the built in cabinets in the back room.With this much damage we don't know what we'll find once we start demoing things.

I've replaced a few of them due to damage caused by the original trim carpenter nailing trim and the nail penetrating the balance (it took some time for the damage to kill the balance).
