When I was doing foreclosure rescue prior to the laws changing on the west coast in 2008.. many of the folks i would sit with.. they owed more on their cars boat jet ski and RV than they did on their house..

Hi Michael - I live in North Myrtle Beach now in an area called Barefoot Resort. 25 years ago, one individual, who happened to own a small, 7 shop strip mall on the beach-side of the intercoastal waterway known as Barefoot Shoppes, crossed the waterway to acquire 2600 acres of, well, nothing.He brought in Dye, Norman, Fazio, and Love to build four golf courses, and we now have 4000 residences between single-family homes, typical 3-level multi-family, and three towers overlooking the waterway.

As far as communities in the area, you’ll find older resorts like Windsor Hills or Emerald Island that are a bit more spread out and closer to Disney.

Data can't be sourced from a single platform, some markets (especially resort markets) have direct booking cultures, equally as many bookings on VRBO, and interesting nuance that no AI can detect.

So this is an option of last resort but I should not be stupid about the revenue (but I may choose to keep it 30+ furnished rental even if it is financially a stupid decision and I do not need any rent for this unit but having such a valuable asset sitting empty is against my REI mindset).in summary, I do not know what we will do with the unit.

Definitely.Trying to go OOS for your first REI deal is a bit like trying to surf a monster 100 foot wave before you've learned to swim, or trying to ski a double black diamond for your very first run.Fortunately, there are simpler strategies that are much better suited for a first time RE investor (house hacking, specifically).

Yeah that would be crazy that makes sense.. as others have mentioned in your scenario owner carry to me is last resort give it 90 days at least.
