Assuming equal profit and appreciation, the only situation where I would consider 2 properties is if they had opposite peak seasons for more steady year round revenue. 

The owner of this property that I am submitting an offer on in round rock is choosing not to provide a sellers disclosure.

It was not an option in our house to rent year round.

I've been to Salt Lick at Round Rock a few times and loved it...
