I'd start looking for agencies you're interested in working with and see if they're looking for a sales person so right after you get your license you can start right away.I got mine in about a months (classes and the test combined) time and had already established a relationship with a mentor who owned his own brokerage so I started immediately after getting my license.Let me know if you need any other pointers or advice!

I know am not in the best position to advice you on because am from a completely different region, west africa to be precise but i do know each state in the United State has its real estate guidelines and requirements and of course you need to sit and pass the real estate exams for agents of the state you choose to practice before a real estate agent license can be issued to you.

LOLthis of course is the risk of being an agent... and its a main reason for agent wash out... spend a year hauling someone around and they go buy a FSBO.... it simply goes with the territory.most experienced agents MY Wife included.. we don't haul people around and have not for 20 years.you give them the address let them do a drive by .. and then set up a showing if they want to see them...
