Minimal furniture and wall decor – less is more vibe. 

Here, I use Floor & Decor a lot and I always order online and have my contractor pick it up, but before I place a final order I take one trip out to confirm.

@Ken Snay - If the numbers make sense, making up-front improvements and adding furniture/decor could help give you an edge in the market.

If realtors are going to be allowed to come on here and spout insanity to round up business, they should at least be required to prove they are acting in accord with that advice, i.e. are buying something, have skin in the game somehow.Otherwise, they're like some cake decorator showing up at overeaters anonymous and selling contraband cupcakes out of his trunk. 

On the flip side, in most mobile homes the interior walls are not load bearing but instead decorative, and you may have greater latitude to move those around to meet modern floor plans (but consult HUD before you do this).

Then, when you move in you can decorate as you wish and make it feel like you'd like. 

Ownership in places like that is more of a luxury (you can do all the interior decorating you wish) and less of a good financial decision.
