It was the judge ruled that since the unit was illegal, it was illegal to charge rent and didn't give the owner an opportunity to fix the unit to bring it up to code - that's all I know.

They would charge rent which they say is dynamic to optimize your profit but what they do is also add booking fees the guest pay on top of rent for another 10-20 percent they say this is for credit card fees and other admin charges but then what is the commission for?

I have looked at the nearby listings, and think while we are not luxury or a huge cabin, a unique higher-end stay perhaps, offering EV charger, hot tub, and more modern finishes, other nightly rates seem higher than Airdna for sure.

Based on my research, new constructions don’t qualify for majority of tax incentives, such as Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit, with the exception of the NY Solar Tax Credit for solar panels and electric chargers.
