@Alex Bacon there are 7 different insurance carriers I use for my OH investors. 

There are many A rated carriers that write coverage in the South burbs of Chicago.

Landscaper's, uber driver's, trash people, newspaper carriers etc. they spread the word to people they know to help before you know it you have tons of deals coming your way.

I have one carrier on my primary, another on all my rentals, and then United States Liability Insurance (USLI) for umbrella. 

Some carriers (esp in California) can only do it with a live person as the First Named Insured. 

The mail carrier has attempted delivery twice and now the mail piece is on its way back to me, "unclaimed."

Mail carriers often know what houses are vacant in a neighborhood. 

We decided that neither myself and girlfriend liked our jobs, and realized that if we were to switch carriers and advance our professional careers we would have to take pay cuts, and needed to supplement our income before switching careers How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?
