@George Dale I believe so in the village, but am not familiar enough with it.

Gore being in the Adirondacks is the furthest from you but is also not too far from Lake George.

Look for property around an attraction or central to attractions…the obvious ones are Lake George and Lake Placid as they are well know but also around the ski resorts.

Prince George is one area, others mentioned include Nanaimo, Port Alberni.
