STR in Finger Lakes NY

Justin Blair
Posted

Hello,

I’m looking to connect with some fellow investors in the Finger Lakes NY region. I’m trying to get an idea of general occupancy rate, particularly during the winter and average nightly rate.

Thanks

Justin

@Manny Vasquez I second Airdna- worth every cent.

@Sean Bramble the town of Ithaca (and we're expecting the city) and the village of Dryden have restrictions enough that I'd avoid them completely, but there are many areas that fall outside of those municipalities that work well. I'm a fan of anywhere between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes- Enfield, Macklenberg, Ovid, Burdett and Hector (more Watkins Glen area), Interlaken, Ovid- along with Newfield and Danby, Groton, King Ferry, etc. Any of those places will be considered accessible to a nice downtown (whether Watkins, Cortland or Ithaca), but are also rural, beautiful and within an easy drive to parks and beaches.
