I'm preparing to tackle about 800 sq/ft of hardwood refinishing on a place I'll be closing on at the end of the month.

My uncle is a very competent GC and him and myself will be tackling the rehabbing and flipping.What I'm looking for is just some thoughts/suggestions/tips.

These folks are ready when they finally get mentally ready to tackle the task.  

The most valuable commodity someone your age has is time, meaning if you're serious about this, you can absolutely (i) go to school, (ii) get a part-time job to start tackling that debt (reception at the student center is a great one because you get paid to do your homework and read books!)

I know the costs would be substantial depending on the end result but I want to hear if anybody has tackled a project such as this and had success.
