I would remove all the broken pieces of concrete or block, and depending on condition of existing concrete pad, leave the concrete and seed or sod the rest with grass.

Unlike sidewalks, this pad has to have a higher rated PSI concrete ( see your local code for it ) and prep should be quality as well otherwise it will be cracking and sagging before you even get the property sold.
