Here, it even changes by county (PB and St Lucie counties, the seller normally pays for title insurance and doc stamps,  Broward and Dade are different).

So they are being evicted on Nov. 18.It amazes me that some tenants will let an eviction be stamped onto their record instead of taking cash out of my pocket and just GETTING OUT.

I know its a fine line.. but I think we have gone over the line.. the amount of people that live off of the government be them cross border illegals that walk into our emergencey rooms and use them as everyday doctors knowing they cannot be refused .. or the huge amount of folks that will never work get HUD housing and food stamps.. who knows were it will go.

Some towns will have sale inspections (as in to get the transfer stamps needed to sell a house, a sales inspection must be done, and either repairs made before sale by the seller, or an escrow amount paid by the buyer and then repairs done to get the escrow back), and sometimes the sale inspector list will require way less than the rental inspector, which obviously makes no sense.

Did some quick math in my head and realized there's no point in taking that money out of the money market fund now when I can do it next month.Not sure what I'll earn in the MM fund in 30 days, but I drive past the tax office about 3 times a week so it won't even cost me a stamp to pay in January.Not much, kind of picking nickels out of horse s**t, but every little bit helps.all cash

Unfortunately some of time in the cities (where the lots are like postage stamps) the city doesn't let you build another building on the lot.In low income areas half the time the garage from the 1st yard is torn down because nobody took care of it.
