The reason l'm looking into the Greater Boston are is because l'm from around the area(Belmont, MA specifically) and New London is relatively cheaper to get started compared to Boston from what l have seen. 

Looking to invest specifically in luxury beach rentals, so would love to connect with other people in that space (agents, lenders, etc). 

It is not that good at the price point of DC or in my market (but better than my market).  

Hey Paul, I've done a few of these with buyers moving money from California to the Detroit market. 

The IRS seems to hedge on this and I see other custodians marketing say you cannot have full time employees.

Negative gearing kills the market for cashflow investors.

I'm curious of the current market demand for student housing and appeal to rental investors.

I'm not too familiar with the markets yet but research I've done suggests that the towns of New Britain, New Haven and Hartford all have a good mix of inventory and low prices coupled with plenty of amenities, night life, cafes, etc and local colleges to bring younger people to the area year after year.
