I like to think of it as a delayed gratification, for a bigger equity down the line.

Admittedly, the expenditure satisfies one of our caveman brains' needs, which is for immediate gratification.  

That bill added "sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression" to the list of protected classes (after race, color, religion, sex, marital status, national origin, familial status...) with Charlotte obviously requiring that establishments there make accommodations for the "full and equal enjoyment of the good, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of a place of public accommodation..."

Delaying gratification isn't the end of the world.

Maybe it's the immediate gratification society, but the note business is MUCH more complicated than real estate business, experience and capital are essential

Rently or not someone can break it, you either get with the times or get left behind, millennials want instant gratification, and instant showings, instagram, instant everything, so keep doing things the old fashion way, set up alerts on your pagers and post to the paper classifieds because if your not doing what's in demand your living in the past.

This is the only time delay gratification can be an exception! 

Landlords cannot choose renters or buyers based on a person’s race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, nationality, marital or domestic partnership or civil union status, sex, gender identity or expression, disability, affectional or sexual orientation, family status or source of lawful income or source of lawful rent payment (such as rental assistance from the Housing Choice Voucher Program formerly known as Section 8).
