It felt pretty safe.

When we stopped finding good deals about 5 or 6 years ago, we just started throwing every penny into paying down the principal across our fleet (paying off higher interest rates first, obviously).Looking back, we probably should have invested that money in the stock market because our interest payments were about 4 or 5%, and we could have doubled that with fairly safe stocks, but that's water under the bridge I guess. 

It's important not to live there during this time, even if a family member is renting it. 2 years is a safe harbor.

We have been playing it safe but really would like to start investing in Rental properties as another source of passive income and to start building for our children.  

House in both are very safe.

Just pick areas that have the best schools you can afford that will keep you safe.. you go just for cash flow you will end up with Trash flow..

I like to provide safe and family friendly housing.I used their "last months" deposit for September as this is considered their last month after being served the notice. 

Every unit is safe and would pass inspection, I'm just getting screwed by government red tape..

About as safe as you can get in the STR world.

I am not leveraged on this house so I can sell and start fresh but have no idea really the safe way to get started.
