@Mickey Yang  - I think you are talking about a property here in OKC - if so, I've recently replaced one (last fall/2022); and it was one that one plumber initially told me we be more expensive b/c it was deeper than six feet -so  they would need to shore up the sides/per OSHA regulations.

You cannot offset your W2 income with passive losses unless you are making less than 150 (MAGI) or are a tax real estate professional and meet the requirements.

You can deduct up to $25,000 in passive losses (Rentals) against your ordinary income (W-2) and other active business income if your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) is $100,000 or less.This deduction phases out $1 for every $2 of MAGI above $100,000 until $150,000 when it is completely phased out.
