cast iron pipe collapse in oklahoma city

I'm dealing with a collapsed pipe issue near the bathroom in my property, and the plumber's quote seems quite high. I'm curious about the average costs for fixing such a problem. Additionally, considering the house is on a cast iron pipe system, I'm wondering if it might be more practical to replace the entire system to avoid future issues. Your insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

Much better to bite the bullet now and replace it all. The expected life span of CI pipe is 50 years so you're overdue. You can expect to pay $10k - $15k depending of course on how long the run to the street is...

Will your insurance cover any of this?
