I recommend you figure out what you want to do, then actually do it to see if you enjoy it, have some skills, etc.

I do it myself and takes 20 to 30 minutes a month (did it yesterday for Dec), with about 7 of those minutes for 1 property in Blount County, TN which requires the form to be manually filled out, write a check, address an envelope, scan doc and check for my records and walk it to my mailbox.

Don't hate it, embrace it and enjoy other parts of life.Also making $575k/annually in 5-10 years as a goal with $500k cash deployable today is just difficult and unrealistic. 

Outside of real estate, I enjoy Working out, training my German shepherd, and traveling with my family.

But when it comes to choosing or creating investments that will produce a return along with personal fulfillment or enjoyment, then I say it definitely matters what you invest in and where you invest.  

There is a relationship established between the lender and the broker, usually in writing.

Some properties are yielding decent returns, but most of these are not listed for sale.Tulum is an incredible destination for those who truly understand its charm and would enjoy having a second home or living here.

I just feel kind of lost still because I work a 9-5 job that I don't enjoy and am no longer learning in and would rather use that time learning more about real estate investing, etc.

I require proof of income, and verify it by contacting the human resources department of their employer in writing.
