Another thing you should consider doing is to get your financing figured out and have them give you a loan letter that states the average loan closing time and the maximum amount you qualified for.Another thing you should do before you start investing is to locate your new office location that is convenient and has minimal distractions.  

Being too hands on can distract you from the business side of things.

I just closed on my beach house with a seller who was tortured by distractions and gad great difficulty focusing on our deal.The solution was to meet for dinner first and sit down with a "talking points" sheets so that we could keep the conversation flowing and on-topic.I cannot tell you how difficult it is to get two A.D.D.
