Lead paint itself is not dangerous - it's the lead paint that is deteriorating—peeling, chipping, chalking, cracking, etc, that is problematic and requiring remedy. 

Or Modern Farm house which is quite hot thanks to Chip and Joanna..  

Nonetheless I asked around for opinions and help and I’m grateful that so many people did chip in towards my knowledge.

First the positives; It's cheap, Temple is growing, to the south you have Austin, and to the North Waco with the Chip and Johanna factor.

The previous owners had exposed drywall/studs, chipping paint, and some other minor deferred maintenance.

We’re getting so many nomad-worker tech-bro types moving here that medium-term furnished “executive” rentals in prime locations can fetch up to $30k/month (needs to be in a blue-chip location with super high-end luxury finishes/appliances/features obviously to rent for that much, and it’s seasonal, but still, it’s crazy).

He suggested that I stick with so-called Blue Chip properties in California.

One of the issues is that the paint on the (i think it's cast iron) bathtub has chipped.

They protest by "lying down"--doing the minimum to get enough money to work, which chips away at the bedrock of China's highly inefficient and manpower dependent economy.Dragging us back on topic, this is why Black Rock and assorting enterprises buying up huge swathes of real estate isn't some sort of signal that it's reassuring for ordinary people to be in real estate but rather a warning of the desired new regime post Great Reset.
