It an older building.i am installing a dishwasher line and washing machine line and the electcian said for 2 units out of 3 would not be able to accommodate a dryer a 220 slot would not work.I understand your point on the cold water but I figured if I can't put point of service then I am only stuck with cold as putting hot would take all the hot water away for others when showering as I only have 75 gallon.i was thinking the convenience of a laundry even with cold wash only would be better then no convenience.Originally posted by @Jaysen Medhurst:Hi@Steve Mcdonald, I used to live in Manhattan and know how attractive in-unit laundry is.

On the flip side, you're going to have to ask yourself if you have any attractive alternates in which to invest your money and, preferably, are you willing to live in the in the new investment (i.e. house hack a multi-family property) or significant downgrade your standard of living accommodation.

I get calls all of the time from agents who have buyers that want to "Just measure the curtains" or "Wanted to see the Basement again to see if a pool table will fit" or "want to count how many energy efficient light bulbs they need to buy" or "To see if their camper will fit in the garage"The answer is always the same "I'm sorry we are unable to accommodate that request due to everything going on at this time".
