Often times, they actually take away from your settlement because they could not negotiate a large enough settlement from the insurance carrier, but you still owe them your fee.Give your insurance carrier and adjuster an opportunity to meet with you, explain the claims process, and address your concerns.

When I received the docusign....across the top of page it states the insurance carrier can cancel within 90 days without cause.

@Daylen Fiallo I think this depends on your strategy.If your strategy is to buy and hold - I would HIGHLY recommend going with a RCV (Replacement Cost Value) policy which is offered by many carriers.

We did a full round of interviews with several carriers about 36 months ago, and chose Berkshire based on that research-which obviously didn't pan out!
