Dwelling Fire insurance vs. Businessowner policy
I am getting quotes for a 4-unit apartment building. I know the DP (dwelling protection) insurance policies are standard landlord insurance but my agent tells me I can also get a Businessowner policy to cover the property (mostly concerned with fire, wind, standard perils). Does anyone have experience with using his policy to cover their multi unit rental property? Pros and cons with this?
