so the title company is requiring a survey (is this required by law?

I want to get a mortgage on a large acreage, have it surveyed into 5 acre lots and sell them off with owner financing.

SO I feel better but I guess a survey will clear it up.

I'm thinking about surveying my tenants and wondering if anyone has done this?  

You may still have to go to the Planning Board to get an approved site plan for the house though and would need to hire a surveyor and engineer to survey the lot and prepare a boundary plan and proposed site plan for the property.

I had a question about the 2012 survey BiggerPockets ran in collaboration with Memphis invest.Specifically, in the following question, the percentage age up to more than 100% (129% to be exact) - does anyone know why that's the case?  

About skill, well, I have Accounting background, cad drafting, land surveying, research for deed etc from working at Land Surveying company.
