Water can freeze in between cracks in cement and lead to additional deterioration.Other things:The attic is full of trash, left over furnitures, the garage floor is full of left over wood chips.

., what tipped me off was the amount of water that drained back into the bucket from the wall. i knew there was a clog somewhere.sure enough, about 12 ft down the line from the sink, there was a Fernco connection of new PVC to cast iron so i undid that. water started to pour out of that joint. ran a snake down and it cleared it. 7 days ago i had to cement a shower hole  and i plugged the hole with paper towel, then i put cement on top of it. i wonder if the paper towel fell in the line and that's what caused the clog. i am glad i experienced it before tenants or inspector noticed it.

There is a laundromat a few blocks away (less than a 5 minute drive).I've already thought of a few things: put additional lighting outside and in stairwell, treads on stairs, and install railing so that there is a handrail on both sides.

As we see adoption and acceptance in consumer class for ascending rental rates, and rates pegged to that "new" real estate value basis, it becomes a cementing factor for the "new" real estate value basis.
