This number can be calculated very differently depending on what state the property is in (and it's generally based on the assessor's opinion, which may be a helpful starting point if you have nothing else to work with - but it's definitely not a conclusive, appraised value).I can send you some more valuation ideas if you're interested.

As a licensed real estate broker and formerly licensed mortgage loan officer, I personally had a hard time making them work concurrently, despite synergies between the two and, though I've come across a few who have made it happen, have gotten the same conclusion from most others who have tried; it's hard to serve two masters.
