Now removing it, while wearing a mask spray the area with a 50/50 bleach solution.

Showers are all cast iron tubs so I'll re-tile the shower surround, then professionally spray the cast iron tubs.The whole building has been re-roofed with a TPO roof and all windows have been upgraded to dual pane vinyl windows. 

Bathroom.. there's a new product (forgot the name).. its a hybrid of scrubbin bubbles spray with bleach, but doesn't foam up like the normal 'scrubin bubbles' product.  

Be sure to follow the directions on diluting the cleaning formula and go over it without spraying the water 2 times after you've sprayed once.

It was gutted, sprayed white, floors pulled, winterized, etc, etc....but the bones were good.

If there is asbestos, then it may be cheaper to have a painter spray the ceilings with egg shell, let it cure and harden for a month and then come back to skim over the hardened popcorn.

Spray foam in the exterior walls is an option and its pretty cheap. 

So now I carry pepper spray.  

Does spray foam not work for the 4-plex?

A large dog can break a big thing, but any size cat can ruin the interior of a house with scratching, fir and spray.
