If that was not your position feel free to correct me.Umbrella policy's are dirt cheap so there is no overriding reason not to get one assuming you have assets to protect, this is true even if their merits can be questionable under certain circumstances, and completely deficit in others.

Each transaction must stand on its own merit, in other words.Using a land trust to wholesale the REO: I don't see this working all too often as most competant investors know that banks are wise to that game and simply avoid, reject, or don't even respond to offers in a "land" trust.Certainly an investor "B" can lock up a contract with the bank "A", now have equitable interest in the property, market that property to an end buyer "C" and not break any laws or statutues, nor comit any kind of fraud.
