People I've spoken to have suggested it sounds like a scam, because the company just wants my details, then apparently they are going to create a fake identity in my name, and put me in debt..

Of course, being near Nashville is great for people who love a city with a unique identity, innovation and entrepreneurship, culture, music, food, art, nature, etc, etc.It's more challenging to find good deals in the city now, as it has been a really hot market, but there are still deals to be found a little farther out.Congrats on taking bold steps to improve your life!

ARV, and size of the complex... are there many other identical (or close in size and floor plan) units for sale?

I'm closing on property #7 in the Houston area and for the last 2, have used an identical approach.  

I'm in the process of repairing my credit after a bout of identity theft.

Hard to believe, but these two properties are identical in size and are probably only 6 blocks away from each other, so market value on them can change pretty drastically within a few blocks. 

Specifically the Ft.

Two identical houses that are about 12 feet from each other and basically on the same lot.One is vacant, and has even been broken into and had wiring and pipes stolen.

There is nothing the same about buying a home to live in, or an investment property...even if the two are identical...right down the the cost, mortgage, utility bills, all other bills, purchase price and sales price.  

If illegal theft or destruction of property is happening, call the sheriff and document everything.
