I love real estate and I've made lots of money with it but if I could go back it time I would have bought Apple stock 10 years ago and just sat on my butt til now... oh, and maybe a little bitcoin 2 years ago!

Im also curious, what type of marketing are you doing in your area (ie: flyers, door hangers, pens, calendars, magnets) to create a presence?

I use a magnet bar to store knives, scissors, etc.

Howe High School is a nearby magnet school, there is an elementary school there and the community association meets at the community center at the park.I am happy with this purchase.

It isn’t all 🌽 and beans here, but there’s a thriving millennial market, aided by the population/demand of Drake University, Iowa State University, DMACC, Grand View, and Central College students, insurance market (one of the largest in nation, as seen in population of actuaries here, and Drake churns our pharmacists like no other due to their 6 year program), and the building of Facebook, Apple and Microsoft server centers around here due to nice tax breaks.

They can both be great paths to wealth over time but you are comparing apples to oranges .

Especially if Amazon or Apple ends up there.
