It would at least give you the ability to notify the guest that a leak has been detected so you can either get them to shut it off or put in a repair request or allow someone in to troubleshoot.

The bigger headache is not being able to troubleshoot when you are not there.

Most of the time these cant be trouble shooter until you own it.

First step is to check with any government agencies that would have records on the wells.. hopefully they will, as well as an as-built so you know which is which.Then, unless your budget is really tight, hire a well company to come trouble shoot the well, find out which one is flowing, get a pump installed....

Your tenants might not complain about water leaking into a bowl from a bad flapper seal, but it still uses tons of water. worth checking out as part of your troubleshooting...
