If it were my kids and there was bad water I would own you right now and take it to court versus fighting you over 700 bucks and then have the judge throw down a harsher punishment.

GCE encourages poor behavior in tenants and punishes good tenants that are following the rules.

There is somewhat of a "glitch" in the market were rate-term refinances at 80% are available, "punishing" those that buy in cash instead of hard money

Squatters squat because the potential reward exceeds the potential punishment.  

If that's the case a lot of the populations will not be able to afford property, those who already own property will get extremely wealthy and the government will start punishing landlords by taxing. 

Focus your energy on finding someone new, not punishing someone for a few dollars.

In California, we have bogus ESA law (AB468) that establishes minimum criteria for patient medical provider relationship and poses harsh punishments to medical providers that provide bogus ESA authorizations.  

You’re supposed to have caught that one article on that one news show where they said starting on this date landlords must do this or they’ll be punished.
