In fact, many agents are happy to just get a photocopy of the check, so you can actually use the same check for multiple offers.Regardless, I would ask the agent you're working with for their guidance on this before you proceed...if they are used to making offers on REO properties, I'm sure it's not the first time they've gotten the question...

If you have an attorney you will be using already make out like $100-500 check out to that attorney for the EMD and bring it AND a photocopy with you and if you work it out give them the photocopy.

We photocopied everything for the file.I wanted the banks statements, one to prove they had an account, two, I'd know what account to tap for collections, but 3, was to see how they managed money, lots of small ATM cash advances shows poor management in my opinion, not talking about debit card at McDonalds type stuff.

I would make a photocopy of the Ocwen payment coupon that GMAC sends you (I received mine the other day) so that if Ocwen fails to send the coupons you have the account # and mailing address to send checks without the coupon.I've also read to mail payments with return receipt requested, although I don't know if this would work since I think they're sent to a PO box.
