I did know of apartment specific painters that would do rooms for 100 each and the whole 900 sq ft apartment for r900 including paint.. but that was 20 plus years ago.

Hi Carlo,In each of my locations (FL, IN & CO), it was slightly different...in Indiana, where I'm originally from, I asked friends and family for their suggestions on plumbers, painters, handyman, etc.

He is an actual painter/artist and he does give you a portrait.

When painters paint cabinets the correct way, they spray an enamel, both for looks and durability. at this point, and after getting everyone else's input, like Dan H says, I think you should just clean it up real good and re-rent it, it's looking like it's not worth it.... 

Anyone here require their painter to roll instead?

I have my painter itemize extra charges so I can deduct from deposit.

But I’m starting to thing I should and look at it as an educational opportunity instead of a hassle Most painters will know a drywall guy.

We actually found a great painter that also did amazing drywall work.So when we rehab he prefers us to leave the taping to him but its not more than a couple of rooms.Last one was $750 to paint the interior of the house plus a couple of rooms of drywall as we flipped the closets etc.

Satin finish will leave a slight texture, no matter how good the painter.
