Martin i've have crossed this bridged too … through my trial and error, i draw a firm line at the point a person doesn't do what they say.

Plaintiffs don't want to wait years for a trial date, plaintiff's lawyers want a quick fee payment where they don't have to spend a lot of hours with only the percentage of the damages to collect, and the plaintiff's attorney knows a lawsuit is NOT about justice or right from wrong - it's all about getting a settlement. 

As a plaintiff's lawyer, I can tell you that most people and businesses do not fully appreciate the uncertainty and fear that comes with taking your case all the way to trial.  

And when we travel on our house building missions alongside 100's of other millionaires that are also supplying the wells, and building sustainable farms, and buying sewing machines, and building free clinics....

I will say, that in my experience most agreements used are "Trial Modifications" where a modification is merged with a forbearance into one agreement.  

Through trial and error you will eventually find the right combination that works for you and over time will establish a long term trusting relationship.

My last one, approved this past January, took almost two years to get through to prove-up trial.
