Working from Bali is nice on paper until you have to meet a deadline or deal with the home office during business hours.  

If you need to tell her to clean up the yard or whatever, just tell her what she needs to do and give her a deadline.  

I hope you put your agreement in writing.Just for information: If you accept rent late, your behavior waives your right to any late fees or ability to enforce rent due on time.You can re-establish your deadline for rent, by giving notice in writing with 30 days notice.
