What's the message they have grown up on ?

It would have to include a reason that is "for cause," so I'm wondering if the landlord is yanking your chain about being able to get rid of the tenant.  

:-)Also, as far as managing, if your criteria is set in cement, it's much easier to say no to people, even if they yank at your heartstrings.  

If you've grown up in a most of middle class America, it can be hard to understand some of the cultural differences.  

We allow pets in our condos, in accordance with association regulations - one or two full grown pets under 25 pounds.

I wanted a grown-up contractual, business relationship with the tenant only. 

Currently, the yard is messy with grown up weeds although it was originally lawn bedded.The front yard is a decent size (1000-1500 sqft) with lawn (also lots of weeds).Can anyone suggest how to landscape the backyard (low maintenance and low cost, and nice looking!)

I make a note on my list that they can't even make their own phone calls, or find someone to just make the call for them in a professional, grown-up at least, manner.  

No, I just think a grown *** man should own his own house.

If he's willing to threaten moving out and he was just bluffing well to bad in the grown up world you get called out on bluffs especially when you can't back them up.
