@Jacob ZivanovichJacob, I've only had experience renting by the room to young professionals/students, which is typically the demographic I've seen that would find renting a room attractive. 

Hi Robert, I am new to investing so I can't offer an overview of the rental market but I have spent years analyzing the economic and socio-demographic trends of the Chicago area from my computer and on the ground as part of my work and graduate education.The Chicago area has grown in a asymmetric manner, with most of the sprawl and higher income job opportunities fanning out to the North, Northwest, and West of the city.

Context from one property to another may vary greatly in terms of how much interest the property gets, area and demographic challenges, time of the year, type of property, condition of the property, etc.  

Huge Korean American demographics there.  

Of course BP, I'm looking for more aggregated data sources for real estate, economics, demographics, migration.

Note that I focus primarily on Cleveland as Akron is a bit of a drive but the demographics, price points and everything else is all similar.

It's a great platform, especially if you join local housing groups and target your ads to specific demographics.

I have been on many a bus tour with operators and that is not the normal demographic.
