My opinion might be a bit biased as I live in and love Naples but based on how well I see others do with their STR's in Naples, I would say yes.

Hey Dom,Folks have and always will be scammed by turnkey providers.Folks have and always will fail when trying to do it all themselves.A few succeed and my fedora is off to them.Many other fail and then it's up to us to make a cake out of crap.I'm bias and think folks should buy turnkey.Then again, I personally wouldn't buy turnkey because I had no issues moving from Australia to Ohio and doing it all "myself."

I think Riverside is a good market for rentals, I am a little bias as I have lived here for over 40 years and really do love Riverside.

My vote is for Bergen Lafayette (bias homeowner/investor) :)

Vancouver...I'm in Edmonton so probably biased to the city, but can also provide some insight to what works here.

I am a Florida investor so I am a bit biased but can tell you South Florida is primarily an appreciation market. 

I may be biased, but there isn't a better city to invest in right now than Kansas City!

I've also had issues between male and females, so I typically try to only have one gender per apartment (either all males or all females).
